Freaky Friday!

For this Freaky Friday I thought I would change things up a bit and share some inspiring quotes on thankfulness and gratitude. With the hectic pace of life after the holidays it’s easy to forget to stop and be thankful for the support we receive from loved ones, teachers, supporters, fellow job-seekers and ourselves!

Here are a few of my favorite quotes on gratitude:

“At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude on those who have lighted the flame within us.”

Albert Schweitzer

“Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”

Melody Beattie

“No one who achieves success does so without acknowledging the help of others. The wise and confident acknowledge this help with gratitude.”

Alfred North Whitehead

“There is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways in which you yourself have altered.”

Nelson Mandela

“Gratitude is when memory is stored in the heart and not in the mind.”

Lionel Hampton

Alphonse Karr
